Becoming Tampa's Tech Connector of the Year

The TeleVoIPs team has grown from 3 to 12 since the beginning.

Last week, we received word from the Tampa Bay Technology Forum that TeleVoIPs has been voted “Technology Connector of the Year.” After ten years as a managed service provider, and eight as a VoIP service provider, we’ve formed a lot of meaningful connections with our Tampa community. This award is a particularly exciting one for us, and now we’re reflecting on how we made it here.

Without great parts to connect, there can be no “connector.” Each Tampa IT company, MSP, and tech startup that has attended our networking events, or partnered with us to spread the word about our services, has lifted us up to this position, and we couldn’t be more honored. Our work with international technology like IBM’s Watson has propelled us forward, and our recent partnership with Phonism certainly hasn’t hurt either. Our strong start and our partners in Tampa enabled our expansion into Jacksonville this past March, with Michael (pictured right) heading up the task of forming a technology network there just like we did here. 

We can talk about our advanced VoIP system, or our reputation for providing amazing customer care, but the technology companies here in Tampa are really what gives us meaningful pieces to connect, and build a community out of. We are a team that makes connections from the inside out—the better we work together, the better our work is.
