Our Sarasota Sales Engineer will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to build a foundation of new partner and client relationships in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas. He or she will attend tradeshows, chamber meetings and networking events to brand the company in the area. He or she will demonstrate and discuss TeleVoIPs’ services and platforms with prospective clients and referral partners as well as assist in hosting partner socials.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following):

  • Build a base of business relationships in the local Sarasota and Bradenton areas
  • Prospect new client opportunities
  • Perform onsite demos of our system for prospective clients
  • Attend networking events—tradeshows, lunches, referral groups, etc.
  • Assist in overseeing partner relationship management and prospect new partner opportunities
  • Communicate with current clients to ensure retention and seek referrals
  • Assist in the planning and hosting of TeleVoIPs partner events
  • Answer a variety of technical questions about our systems and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Come to the job with at least a high-school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business development, communications and/or information technology preferred
  • General knowledge of networking, IT systems and processes, telecommunications preferred
  • Technical certifications preferred
  • Include at least three previous experiences relating to the skills required for this position in your cover letter or introductory email

  • Be able to organize appointments and processes effectively
  • Should have a basic technical skillset (knowledge of IT network infrastructure, products and operations)
  • Work well independently and in a team environment
  • Enjoy meeting new people and conducting service- and product-driven conversations
  • Be willing and able to travel when necessary (to client sites in the Sarasota area, or to local networking events)


  • Driving to and from client offices in the Sarasota area
  • Sitting or standing for extended period of time
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Working in a well lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
  • Using manual dexterity sufficient to handle/reach items and work with hands
  • Using close/distance/peripheral and depth perception to work on a computer
