Our Technical Specialists work with our awesome clients every day, carrying out onsite installations, making changes to client phone systems, and troubleshooting VoIP-related issues. They help to build out call flow for new clients and assist existing clients with telecom needs as their businesses grow and change.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following):

  • Work directly with our clients via telephone or remote session to design, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP
  • Respond to questions and support calls about our phone system, mobile app, and fax system
  • Set up and install our VoIP phone system at new client businesses
  • Effectively resolve issues related to our clients’ hosted and on-premise PBX
  • Work directly with our clients’ IT companies to efficiently resolve network issues
  • Provision phones and call routes for new clients
  • Answer technical questions about our services
  • Listen well to our clients and then exceed their expectations
  • Learn from our technical support team and apply new knowledge every day
  • Be willing to work an occasional on-call rotation when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Come to the job with at least a high-school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
  • Have at least one year of experience working with technology (extra points for help desk experience)
  • Be able to complete our required VoIP certification courses (coming to the job with technical certifications is even better)
  • Include at least three experiences relating to this position in your cover letter or introductory email

  • Be a superstar on the phone greeting clients, listening well, and understanding their needs (also called “excellent verbal communication skills”)

  • Understand how small, medium, and large companies use their phones and other technology


  • Driving to and from client offices in the Tampa area
  • Sitting or standing for extended period of time
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Working in a well lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
  • Using manual dexterity sufficient to handle/reach items and work with hands
  • Using close/distance/peripheral and depth perception
